Dhanush is certainly flying high after the stupendous success of Pollathavan, a film that was critically acclaimed and turned out to be a money-spinner at the box-office. And now, the young actor is taking some bold steps to strengthen his position which has come due to his own hard work and determination in Kollywood superstar race. Dhanush's priority has changed, and is now looking at his scripts with a fine comb. He has decided to opt out of the Tamil remake of Jab We Met for Moserbaer, as it "not a challenging job" and instead he has signed a film for Vijay Vauhini to be directed by Suraj. Says Dhanush: "Suraj has come forward with an exciting fun movie laced with action, which I found to be exciting. It will be my next film which will start in April. Music is by Mani Sharma and we are on the lookout for a new heroine." Incidentally, Suraj's last release Maruthamalai was a hit. And now, Dhanush's film with the Pollathavan team directed by Vetrimaran has been postponed, and will start only after Suraj's film. Says Dhanush: "Vetri is a serious film maker and he wanted time to work on his script. I will do the film when Vetri is ready with the script, and during that period I will do Suraj's film. Both these films will release in 2008."
